Nerja is a town in the Spanish province of Malaga in Andalusia, with a surface of \u200b\u200b85 km\u00b2. In 2007 Nerja counted 20 796 people. Nerja is on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, about 50 kilometers east of Malaga and forms the eastern spur of the Costa del Sol. Nerja has about 16 km beach. Water sports and tourism are also important sources of income.<\/p>\n

In addition, Nerja is known for the Balcon de Europa, a promenade in the center on top of a cliff that hangs out into the sea. East of the city are a series of small beaches and secluded coves, separated by cliffs and other rock formations.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Just outside Nerja are stalactite caves (Cueva de Nerja) where many archaeological finds have been made and where murals have been found around 20,000 years old.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
